The security period is the time between order approval and the amount becoming available. An established freelancer has no security period: the net amount is available as soon as the client approves.
| Situation | Period |
|---|---|
| Established freelancer | 0 days |
| New freelancer | 14 days |
| High-risk freelancer | up to 30 days |
When do I become established
You are considered established when you meet, at the same time:
- an account at least 90 days old;
- at least five completed orders;
- an average rating of 3 stars or above;
- no late deliveries.
While any of these is missing, the account is treated as new. In your withdrawals area you can check at any time what you have already met and what is left.
High risk
The high-risk classification may consider your history of disputes and refunds, chargebacks, recent bank changes, pending documents, unusual activity, the order value compared with your history, alerts from the payment processor or well-founded suspicion of fraud. Wherever possible you are told the applicable period and the reason.
