Every order with a deadline is tracked automatically.
| When | Who is warned |
|---|---|
| Two days before the deadline | The freelancer |
| On the day itself | The freelancer |
| After the deadline passes | The freelancer and the client too |
The warning to the client is a reminder that the money is still held and explains the possible paths: wait, talk to the freelancer, or open a dispute. Warnings after the deadline repeat every few days, without excessive nagging.
If you need more time
Talk to the client before the deadline passes. A request for an extension communicated in time is almost always resolved; three days of silence is not.
Meeting deadlines is not just courtesy: it weighs on ranking and it is one of the requirements to become an
established freelancer, with no security period.
