What the platform issues
TugaFreela issues documents for its own fees:
- an invoice or invoice-receipt to the client, for the client fee;
- an invoice or invoice-receipt to the freelancer, for the freelancer commission.
What the freelancer issues
The freelancer supplies the main service and it is they who issue you the invoice, invoice-receipt or other legally required tax document for the work itself. The platform must not appear as the supplier of the main service when it acts only as an intermediary.
The freelancer can upload to the platform, as a PDF, the invoice issued in their own accounting software, stating its number and date. That document is made available to you exactly as it was uploaded.
Receipts
Under My payments you have a PDF receipt for each operation, with a summary of what was paid. Payment confirmations, settlement statements and withdrawal receipts do not replace tax documents.
Refunds
Where there is a refund, full or partial, TugaFreela issues credit notes for the documents it issued, in proportion to the amount refunded. The credit note for the main service invoice is the freelancer's responsibility, and the platform flags that obligation on the order.
