Who issues which invoice

The most common confusion on the platform, settled in one table.

Invoice for the client fee (10% + VAT)TugaFreelaThe client
Invoice for the freelancer commission (10% + VAT)TugaFreelaThe freelancer

The platform does not invoice the service

TugaFreela must not appear as the supplier of the main service when it acts only as an intermediary. The work is provided by the freelancer, and it is the freelancer who issues the invoice, invoice-receipt or other legally required tax document.

Uploading the invoice

The freelancer can upload, as a PDF, the invoice issued in their own accounting software, stating its number and date. That document is made available to the client exactly as uploaded: the platform does not alter it and does not take responsibility for issuing it.

Credit notes

Where there is a refund, TugaFreela issues credit notes for the documents it issued, in proportion to the amount refunded. The credit note for the service invoice is the freelancer's responsibility, and the platform flags that obligation on the order.

Payment confirmations, settlement statements and withdrawal receipts are not tax documents and do not replace an invoice.
